In this project I looked at the seven deadly sins, I narrowed it down to just the sin of Gluttony. I experimented with different foods, but mostly I worked with Lard. I chose this material as it directly links in with fat which you get from eating lots of food, it can be used for cooking, and that it was grotesque to look at which gave the impression I wanted. I used tights so I could hang these pieces and the tights gave the pieces a great weight as you could see them being stretched and pulled down. It also represented skin, which links in directly to the project through the association of humans and sin.
