For this project I looked at two subjects, Safety and Danger. These two are polar opposite but are often associated with one another. I took an object of safety (an umbrella) It shields us from the harsh weather like rain and wind. But instead of being something associated with protection I made it something threatening, by adding glass shards where there used to be material. By replacing one element has changed it dramatically.

For this piece I used an umbrella, fishing wire and shards of glass.
